The
"Deep Breath In"/"Before the Curtain" Exhibit
Noted
Frenchtown photographer Linda Erickson will be unveiling her latest innovative
project in May 2005. Her previous
exhibitions, "Friends in
Frenchtown" in 2003, and
"Women of Frenchtown" in 2002,
were extremely successful and enthusiastically received.
 Her
new show opening May 6th has a dual theme. "Before
The Curtain", photos taken during rehearsal of the dance company of Ballet
Classique, and "Deep Breath In", a very personal documentation of an
illness, will be an intermixed exhibition. These
photographs were taken during the same time period and their unusual
juxtaposition is intended to underscore the delicate and vulnerable drama in
these two subjects. Part of the
proceeds from this exhibition will be donated to The Repertory Company of Ballet
Classique in Frenchtown.
The
exhibition will run from May 6 through
June 1, 2005
at Alchemy (
17
Bridge Street
, Frenchtown, open daily
10-6) which is also celebrating its recent transformation with new clothing lines, shoes provided by Daniel's of Doylestown, and
art gallery space.
The opening is Friday, May 6th from
6
to
8 PM
,
and will include hors d'oeuvres, a wine tasting supplied by The Wine Hut, and
live music by harpist Joanna Mell. This
will be a special evening and everyone is encouraged to dress up and enjoy the
event.
